Kavitha and Paul Tie the Knot at Paradise Palms

Kavitha first contacted us a few months before her wedding asking about a hair and makeup trial. 

We arrived at her home and quickly learned she had already had two trials with other companies and just wasn’t happy with the end result.

So first we talked makeup looks … dewy finish or matte for the foundation? Bold eye or something softer? Defined lip or just a natural gloss? Where Kavitha wasn’t quite sure, we tried both looks and she quickly discovered what she liked.

For the hair we started with an upstyle and ended up with soft curls half up half down and a few hair extensions to add volume.

Trials are really important as they allow time to try different looks, it gives the bride a chance to get to know us and it also gives confidence and peace of mind for the wedding day.

Mary and Ray's Romantic Green Island Wedding

Mary and Ray flew from Adelaide to Cairns to get married on tropical Green Island. We provide a mobile resort room service so Mary booked Finesse Makeup and Hair for her Green Island wedding makeup and hair. So at 9am we all caught the ferry to the idyllic island resort and spent the morning in Mary’s beach-side room doing hair and makeup for our bride and her bridal party. The couple met online two years ago and just knew they had a future together. Civil Marriage Celebrant Joanne Male married the couple on the beach in front of family and friends as waves lapped the coral shoreline.
